Lori’s Kidney Story
Lori is a single momma of 3 amazing children Griffen, Sidney, and Grady. She is a teacher and coach too.
She is one of the strongest women I know. ❤️ #lendakidney4lori
I had someone reach out last night because I haven’t posted in awhile. I am once again home. Let’s hope my next trip isn’t until my 4mo check up. Had a video call with one of the surgeons yesterday and he seems pleased with my numbers and my progress. Fingers crossed this progress continues. Rest and recovery is the key - very hard to sit still but I am trying. Thank you for all your prayers and support through all of this. 🙏

I am beyond Blessed!
A Gift from an Organ Donor brings New Life for someone desperately waiting for an Organ Transplant to save their life.
We honour and thank organ donors everywhere. Without their families agreeing lives would not, and will not be saved, so to all donor families we thank you for your strength. In the midst of your sadness you agreed to give life and hope toothers. The gift of life you have given so freely and in love is appreciated every day. Love lives on thanks to your courage and compassion. Thank you for your strength.
Please think about organ donation, talk about it, share your decisions and give hope.
Please about your decisions with your loved ones, say and register your decision at NHS Organ Donation
Never stop believing in what God can do. There were times I felt like giving up but I kept going. Yesterday, I rang that bell being dismissed from Mayo Clinic and fly home tomorrow.
Forever grateful and forever blessed.
To my donor family, I pray for them as well. 🙏
UPDATE: 2 Post Op appointments today- both Dr. are pleased and I am 1 step closer to Ohio. O-H

No idea what this means for returning to Ohio yet but glad I am in good hands.
Always listen to your body!
UPDATE: Numbers are still improving like they’re supposed to. New appointments next week towards dismissal. Today’s nurse could not believe I am only 5 days post op. He said I looked 2 months easy.
Seriously made my day! Thank you for all the prayers! ❤️🙏
