Hi friends. As most of you know I have been commuting from RVA to Newport News for my hair business for the past year and a half. I love my clientele so much that I have built up in Newport News for the past 8 years, but I’m ready to fully embrace my move to Richmond. Doing hair is such a passion of mine, but all the owning a business part of it is stressful and kind of annoying to me. I want to go back to going to work, doing my job and loving it and then going home and not having to do all the logistical stuff. I really love the creative side of my industry and I want to specialize more on balayages, fantasy colors, and blonding services. Also, as many of you know Jacob and I started last year too and I want to be able to focus on that and my vintage business more. Andddd being in a car for 2+ hours a day is draining me physically and mentally. I know I don’t need to over explain my decision to anyone, but my clients really have been my family for me these past few years and it’s with a heavy heart that I do this. My business in Newport News will be closing on March 1. I will be canceling any appointments after this date/moving them to my new location. I opened up my schedule a lot for this month and I would love to see lots of you before I go (my booking link is in my bio). Julia has been the best to work with these past 2 years and I’m going to miss her and all of my Valhalla girlies so much. I know my OGs who love me will make the drive for me and I’m beyond thankful for that, but if anyone needs a stylist in NN I encourage you all to book with Julia or Ashlie. My new salon home will be 5 minutes from my apartment in one of the best spots in RVA. It’s actually kind of amazing, I decided I needed a change for myself and God really made it fall into my lap in weeks. I will be joining the team at their Manchester location🥰 Brittany is the sweetest and I’m so excited to have her as a mentor/boss and to join a team of such talented stylists. My hours will be Tuesday-Friday and one Saturday a month. Tuesday-Thursday 10-7, Friday 10-5, and Saturday 10-3. You can book with me now, my start date is March 5! My prices aren’t changing really and it’s only!! an hour exactly from the salon right now. I’m excited to really be a Richmond girl now. Thank you all for the support in the past and continued support in the future. Change is really scary for me, but I know in my heart that this is the best decision for myself and my business.
