Every year, I search for the most beautiful flowers I can find for my mom. 💐
She passed away 17 years ago. For 14 of those years, I couldn’t bring myself to visit her gravesite. The pain was just too much.
One day, my husband took me. He watched me release years of grief, and from that moment, something changed.
Now, I visit every year not with fear, but with love and gratitude. I choose flowers that reflect the beauty she brought into my life.
I hope she’d be proud of the woman I’ve become. Not because life has been easy, but because I’ve learned that healing doesn’t mean forgetting.
It means carrying love forward.
