I need help protecting the Licensed Massage Therapy industry, the people dedicated to serving their community with legitimate massage geared to keep people pain free, working and healthy. We all want to prevent s*x trafficking, but the ordinances proposed do not deal with the unlicensed, untrained, massage fronts but place undo burden on legitimate therapists. We have worked a long time to legitimize massage therapy and are beginning to be recognized with in the medical community, that our work can be as important as PT, OT, to help clients with mobility, range of motion and pain relief. Please sign the petition below to help prevent the wrong focus on dealing with the issue and finding a real solution to the problem of illegitimate and false facilities.
