Life has required quite the adjustment lately, but one thing that’s been constant is the joy and clarity that the gym brings me 🫂

If I’m not in a gym fit, I’m in a bikini lately and I love this lil life I’ve created for myself hahaha. It’s been about a week in Florida now and although at times it may seem overwhelming (not knowing many people, not finding a gym I feel I belong to yet, etc)… I’m still so happy I took the chance and went for it.

After 12 years working out.. I do it more because it’s apart of everyday life. It’s a passion. I feel weird without it, truly. I am so grateful to have the ability to move my body…

…Sometimes a little mindset change about the gym can change a lot about how you look at it. I GET to move my body.. rather than you HAVE to. Doesn’t always have to be in the gym either.
Catch me on the peir going for 2 hour walks dolphin hunting, or at the beach walking miles seashell hunting😂

Wellll guys another long caption but I got a life update:
it’s official! I’ve signed my lease in St Pete and couldn’t be more excited for this opportunity granted to me.

I do believe everything happens for a reason. Ngl I’ve wanted to live here since before I moved to DC. Life happened and that’s how I ended up there.. and same with the transition to Florida! If you care, read below..

To be transparent, I’ve been unemployed and living off my savings since Feb 2026. These past couple months I’d say have been my lowest. Feeling lost with no real direction in life, stressed about the future, and really digging deep to believe in myself and take the leap. I told myself to trust God and apply to both DC and FL & see what happens.

I hate to sound sappy — but bruh I couldn’t have asked for a better turn out 😩 not only is my move to Florida completely free (hospital relocation bonus) BUT the apartment I found.. and LOVEEE.. is offering 2 months free and $400 under my budget. 10 mins from beach and 10 mins from downtown/work. And everything I ever coulda dreamed of!

I start work June 22nd and the two months freee will replenish all of my savings I’ve went through. Ain’t it weird how life works out?!

Guys if life feels like it’s pushing you down, do not give up on yourself. I’m so ready for this new adventure 🌴

Until then — flight back to DC to say goodbye to everyone I’ve met and to pack. Come June 2026, you can consider me a FLORIDA RESIDENT BABBBYYYYY
