As many here in Norco know, I make Horsehair Jewelry. Today I washed the longest tail I have ever been given by a customer. 70 inches long. I will be making also the largest order in my career of making memories. This horse was loved by many. Blessings to the great horses in our lives.

Everytime I work on an order it becomes a very important project for me to make it memorable for the owners of the horse. The pieces I create becomes a cherish object to those owners so they can keep their beloved horse close to them. This project was definitely special because I know the family so well and I saw how his lost was devastating for the whole family. He was a member of the family, giving many generations, love and cherished memories. This horse will be missed and never forgotten and my hope is the creations I make can be a reminder of how great he was and will always be remembered.

The last project for Christmas. A tassel with 3 horses that the owner can now carry with her as a shoofly on her horse or a tassel to carry with her. Thank you Sam Hurtado for your talent in braiding rawhide to make this beautiful horsehair Tassel.

Another unique and so pretty piece of Horsehair Jewelry. This one I brought in another talent to make the Horsenail Pendant from our own Copper Rooster, Paul Van Haun. The necklace is a Fine silver diamond cut chain braided in Horsehair with a two inch silver extension to give versatility in lengths. It couldn't of turned out better.
