Growing beautiful things runs in the blood of Norfolk flower farmer & designer, Dee Hall Goodwin of 🌷

When Dee moved to Norfolk seven years ago, she started a pollinator garden in her front yard. A neighbor said it would be cool if she turned the whole thing into flowers. She did exactly that.

Now Dee farms four scattered urban plots across Norfolk using regenerative practices. She grows what she can, sources the rest from growers she trusts, and designs everything without floral foam.

She’s also the founder of , an international collective of nearly 60 growers, and the here at home. You can find her floral design studio .studio.on.colley where she is part of the all women collective based out of ✨

We’re honored to have Dee’s floral designs adorn The Love Club table this Valentine’s Day 💐

We are thrilled to announce that we will be partnering with to curate a special Non-Alcoholic Drink Pairing Option for our upcoming Love Club dinner!

Free Life is a vibrant alcohol-free ecosystem started by founder Christina Kimbrough offering a mobile non-alcoholic bar, a curated bottle shop inside Maison Soleil, and a wide range of events and experiences that invite people to connect, celebrate, and heal—without the booze. Everything they do is rooted in joy, inclusion, and intentional living.

Free Life is a community-first brand that believes in doing business in a way that’s deeply human. Their events feel like home. Their drinks spark joy. And their mission is simple: to make it easier, cooler, and more joyful to live alcohol-free.

This partnership perfectly aligns with our mission of bringing people together for meaningful connection over exceptional food and drinks. Free Life’s thoughtfully curated beverage program will offer a non-alcoholic option for our non-drinking guests to pair with each course of the evening. Ava is a Creative Director, beverage alchemist, and co founder of Le Cheile Collective and Love Child. She has a gift for creating spaces that feel warm, intentional, and deeply personal. From beautifully crafted specialty drinks to the overall energy of a room, everything she builds is rooted in artistry and care.

Her love of beverages comes from years of hands on experience and a true respect for gathering around something meaningful. A big part of her story is feeling like she did not always fit in. Instead of shrinking, she let that feeling guide her. She chose to create the kind of spaces she once needed. Spaces where people can show up fully, feel seen, and feel celebrated exactly as they are.

Hospitality, design, and empathy are woven into everything she does. Outside the cafe, she is a mother, artist, dancer, vintage curator, and advocate for creative freedom and collective liberation.

We are honored to have her shaping the experience of The Love Club.

For Kate, art has always been a language of connection. A place where emotion, memory, and meaning meet. What began as simple marks on a page has evolved into a lifelong exploration of presence, beauty, and what it means to truly feel rooted where you are.

Her work is known for its moody blues, softened edges, and layered light. Her pieces don’t shout for attention, but quietly invite you inward. Each painting offers a pause. A breath. A moment to return to yourself.

Through both her art and her teaching, Kate creates more than something to look at, she creates permission. Permission to slow down. To feel. To be present. To reconnect with your own voice.

We’re honored to gather inside her space for our upcoming Valentine’s Dinner. On a night centered around intimacy, connection, and shared experience, Kate’s work sets the tone beautifully by reminding us that love, like art, asks us to pay attention.

Food has always been at the center of who Kaylin is—from early memories cooking alongside the matriarchs in her family, to co-founding .collective with deep care and conviction. For her, cooking is a reclamation of joy, heritage, and power—a space where nourishment goes beyond the plate. She brings that same sentiment to everything she creates, making life feel both delicious and alive.

As a chef, self-proclaimed coffee snob, and co-founder of Le Chéile Collective & Love Child, Kaylin’s work is a form of resistance—bold, expressive, and rooted in care. After seeing the industry’s harmful systems up close, she chose to build something different: a space grounded in solidarity and a deep belief that joy and justice are inseparable. She’s not interested in surface-level hospitality; she’s here for the kind that holds people up and brings them in.

Pull up a chair. Pour a glass. You’re officially in the Love Club.

This edition of Makers Meals is a Valentine’s dinner created by Kaylin Padgett of .collective — equal parts soulful, indulgent, and a little bit playful. Inspired by the romance and rebellion of the 70s, the evening sets the tone with disco balls, candlelight, and a menu designed to be shared.
