Where meaningful moments become unforgettable weekends. Ordained Minister | Day-of Coordinator | Event Designer

Come for the celebration.
Stay for the connection. Professional Event Services Coordinator
This summer, I got to do a whole lot of something I still can't believe people trust me to do:
Marry them. 🥹
I've traveled all over the Pacific Northwest and Mountain West, stood beside couples as they exchanged vows, pronounced them married, bartended a few incredible celebrations, met parents and grandparents and kids and best friends, shared meals with families I'd never met before that day, laughed with them, cried with them and celebrated right alongside them.
And somewhere along the way, I realized how damn special this little business has become.
Because weddings aren't really about the perfect flowers or the perfect tablescape or whether every single thing happens according to the timeline.
They're about people.
They're about gathering everyone you love in one place and saying, This matters. This person matters. This family we're building matters. Come celebrate it with us.
And somehow, I get invited into the middle of that.
Sometimes I'm holding the ceremony script.
Sometimes I'm behind the bar pouring the ch*****ne.
Sometimes I'm sitting at a table eating dinner with a family I met three hours ago and somehow already feel like I've known much longer.
What a dream.
What a blessing.
What an unbelievable privilege to make a living helping people celebrate being alive and loving each other.
I've been busy this summer.
But damn, I've been lucky. 🥹
Life is the occasion. Celebrate the hell out of it.

Somewhere along the way, adult friendship became:
“We should totally get together!”
And then nobody gets together.
For six months.
Because we're busy.
Because the kids have something.
Because work is insane.
Because somebody has to actually pick the damn date.
So here's my controversial fall suggestion:
Be that person.
Invite them over.
Make chili.
Light the fire.
Tell everyone to bring something.
Plan the girls' night.
Book the tee time before the weather turns.
Host the bunco night.
Go to the brewery.
Invite the new person.
Ask the coworker you've been saying “we should hang out sometime” to for approximately three fiscal years. 😂
It doesn't need a theme.
Your house doesn't need to be spotless.
Nobody needs matching plates.
You don't need twelve weeks of notice.
People need people.
Sometimes all we're actually waiting for is somebody willing to say:
“Saturday. 6:00. Come over.”
Life is the occasion. 🍂

Dinner parties.
Bunco nights.
Backyard gatherings.
Golf with people who aren't good at golf.
Dressing up for no reason.
Meeting new people.
Doing things just because they're FUN.
This is your reminder that
you do not need a special occasion
to make plans with your favorite people.
Make the reservation.
Plan the party.
Play the round.
Invite the girls.
Life is the occasion.🥳

Every bride thinks she can coordinate her own wedding.
She probably can.
Her mom can too.
Her sister can.
Her maid of honor can.
But should they?
Day of Coordinators provide you with peace of mind and less stress lines on your face. Nobody wants that in their photos.

The romance isn't just for the movies. Your wedding day gets to be as romantic as you want it.
Last weekend I married a couple.
The wind had opinions.
The timeline got creative.
Somebody misplaced something important.
You know... wedding stuff 😂
And none of it mattered.
Because the second they looked at each other, everything else disappeared.
One of the greatest gifts of being an ordained minister is that I get the best view in the house.
Not the flowers.
Not the decorations.
Not the Pinterest-worthy details.
The people.
The way they look at each other.
The way their families look at them.
The way an entire room pauses to witness two people choosing each other.
As much as I love a great party afterward, those moments are my favorite.
They're real.
And they're the reason I do this 🤍
And there were lawn games!
What a beautiful sunny day!
Cheers J&L!
Remember it's about the little moments. Stack those.
So now there’s:
a golf course,
a little Scottish mischief,
wh***ey flowing,
bagpipes somewhere in the distance,
friends arriving from everywhere,
and enough chaos to make this a story your group talks about for the next decade.
Literally and figuratively…
there are many players involved.
The girls are dressed.
The boys are competitive.
Someone already started a putting challenge for money.
The charcuterie boards are outrageous.
There may or may not be a tartan dress code.
And somehow this entire thing feels both wildly elegant and completely unhinged.
Exactly how it should.
Because life is too short for forgettable birthdays.
This isn’t just a party.
It’s connection.
Celebration.
Community.
A reason to gather your people around the table and remember what being alive actually feels like.
One unforgettable night.
One legendary birthday.
One for the books.
Welcome to Rogue Soirees & Fairways.
Where the stories get better every year.
As we close out EMS Week 2026 🚑🤍
let’s remember the community, connection, and commitment our first responders give every single day.
The long shifts.
The missed holidays.
The late-night calls.
The way they continue showing up for complete strangers on some of the hardest days imaginable.
And somehow… they still find ways to laugh together, support each other, and serve their communities with heart.
That kind of dedication deserves more than one week of recognition.
So check on your people.
Invite them to the BBQ.
Save them a plate if they’re stuck on shift.
Show appreciation when you can.
Because gratitude goes a long way—and community always matters 🤍
