Registration is now open for our Medicinal Mushrooms workshop scheduled Saturday January 18, 2025. Dive into the world of mushrooms and the many benefits these fantastic fungi provide. Learn the correct method for creating a mushroom extract. Each student will take home a 1oz bottle of Lions Mane. Samples of our mushroom cocoa will also be available during the class. Although tincture making may initially seem intimidating, I assure you it is a straightforward process that opens the door to the world of herbal remedies. Join me in this upcoming class where we will explore both the folk method and a more scientific approach to crafting herbal tinctures.

Throughout the session, we will cover essential concepts related to plant constituents and discuss the optimal mediums for extracting specific components of the plant. You’ll gain insight into why certain solvents, such as alcohol or glycerin, are more effective for particular herbs.

By the end of the class, you will feel empowered to create your own tinctures at home, harnessing the therapeutic potential of nature.
