There are moments when you can feel completely outnumbered.

Too many opinions.
Too many voices.
Too many things happening at once.

And sometimes, if you aren't careful, you can start believing that what's happening around you is bigger than what's inside of you.

But I've learned that just because something feels overwhelming doesn't mean it has power over me.

I don't have to fear every battle.
I don't have to respond to every voice.
And I don't have to prove myself to everyone who misunderstands me.

1 John 4:4 says:

“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”

That's the reminder.

What's around me may be loud, but God within me is greater.

And sometimes faith is simply remembering that. 🤍

She stood there, staring at the opportunity in front of her.

It was everything she had prayed for.

And yet, she was scared.

“What if I fail?”
“What if I'm not ready?”
“What if this doesn't work out?”

She almost turned around.

Then she remembered that being afraid didn't mean she had to stop.

Maybe courage wasn't the absence of fear.

Maybe courage was taking the next step anyway, knowing God was with her.

So she took a deep breath.

And she stepped forward.

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:9

You don't have to know exactly how everything will work out.

Take the next step.

God is already there.

She prayed for it.

Then she checked her phone.

Nothing.

She prayed again the next morning.

Still nothing.

Days passed, and she started wondering if her prayer had even been heard.

One night, she finally whispered, “God, I believe You can do it. I just don't know when.”

And that changed something in her.

She stopped praying from fear that it wouldn't happen.

She started praying with faith that God was already working, even when she couldn't see it.

Because faith isn't always about seeing the answer immediately.

Sometimes it's trusting God before the answer arrives.

**“Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”**
**Mark 11:24**

Keep believing.

What you cannot see yet does not mean God isn't working.

There were things I prayed for that didn't work out.

At the time, I questioned everything.

Why did that opportunity disappear?
Why did that relationship change?
Why did that door close when I was so sure it was meant for me?

But I've learned that sometimes you don't understand the purpose of a situation while you're in it.

You understand it later.

Looking back, I can see how certain disappointments protected me, redirected me, or made room for something I couldn't see coming.

Romans 8:28 says:

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called.
