I love when a writer can capture a single moment that can bring up so many emotions.

Every morning my journey of 1,000 steps begins in a place that for has many emotions tied to it. On one hand it represents the start of a new chapter of life, four years of hard work landed me here. On the other hand, this was a stop that should not be taken lightly in my youth. It’s an interesting thing watching old feelings burn away new more hopeful ones replace them.
