Blonde Hair x Spray Tans 🪩 🎀⚡️💖

I know we all love a fresh tan 😉 has saved me this spring with her tans 💁🏼‍♀️ which got me thinking about protecting our hair… Whether it’s a spray tan or your at home self tanner, did you know your fresh tan can bleed onto your blonde hair?!

To avoid this happening here’s a few tips to keep in mind:

⚡️ Line up wash day with the day before you tan, the less you wash your hair while having your tan the better

⚡️ After tanning keep your hair off your skin. It’s best to keep it up until after you rinse your tan so the color doesn’t transfer.

⚡️ When washing your hair use extra caution! When your hair is wet, it’s more likely to absorb your tan and ruin your color! This would be the best time to go into the salon for a blowout 💁🏼‍♀️

For those of you that love a sunkissed tan ☀️ here is your PSA to use a mineral based sunscreen! Avoid any sunscreens that have the ingredient Avobenzone. When this ingredient comes in contact with your blonde hair it can turn it a peach color 🍑
