So we went with two-strand twist starters, interlocked at the roots.

This client came in for a palm roll retwist and a style that would work with her military uniform. With very long, healthy locs, we wanted a style that would keep everything neat, secure, and uniform-ready.

We finished with two-strand twists, but getting the finishing knots just right took a little teamwork. While I did the twists, she showed me a technique she likes for securing the ends, and we worked together until the style looked exactly the way she wanted.

One thing I love about this work is that learning never stops. Every client brings something unique, and great conversations and shared knowledge make each appointment even better.
