If you missed yesterday’s market, you may have missed a few surprises. 👀

Our little tallow facial bars made their debut as a market-only tester, and I think I’m going to keep it that way for now. Part of the fun of shopping SNJ in person is finding something that hasn’t made it online yet. 🌿

So expect more surprise testers at future markets.

But Rosewood? The people have spoken. 🌹

We sold out our botanical perfume oil within an hour! And everyone who stopped to smell her had something to say.

So Rosewood has officially graduated from market tester to online SNJ lineup.

If you didn’t get to smell her yesterday, you can finally meet her online. 🤎

Eight months in. 🌿

SNJ started with me making products for my daughters, testing them at home, and wondering where this little idea might go.

Since then, it’s grown quietly.

One jar. One order. One market. One returning customer at a time.

My girls have grown with it too, helping pack orders, testing products, and occasionally stealing inventory. 😂

Nothing about this has been flashy. Just steady work, a lot of love, and people choosing to support something made by a mom who wanted better for her girls.

Now we’re heading into fall and our next market is almost here. 🤎

Apparently fall starts with splitting vanilla beans after work. 🌿

Tonight’s SNJ shift: vanilla, calendula, and another fresh batch of our master base getting ready for body butter season.

Because while everyone else is thinking pumpkin spice, I’m over here thinking:

How much tallow can I whip before the next market? 😂

Small-batch means the prep starts long before the jars hit the table, and fall market season is officially creeping up on us.

So we prep.
We infuse.
We make the mess.

And then we pour a dark beer because technically this is still after work. 🍺😂

Fall SNJ season loading… 🍂

When you’ve got 30 minutes to get out the door and your hair decides to absolutely not cooperate. 😭

Skipped the bonnet. Woke up to frizz, volume, and color-treated ends choosing chaos.

Enter Silken Tresses. 🌿

A few drops through the lengths and ends, about 15 minutes to settle in, and suddenly we’re back to soft, shiny, actually-presentable hair.

No wash day.
No elaborate rescue mission.
No time for foolishness.

Just nourish, smooth, and GO.

Friday hair crisis: handled.

POV: you ask your kid to help pack an order and she immediately pays herself by stealing inventory. 😂

J was helping pack an SNJ order, pulling products from our very glamorous “stockroom”

…and then casually helped herself to a Soft Blush lip balm on the way out.

Me: “Hey, that costs $5.”

J: “You got that.”

The confidence of someone who has never paid a utility bill in her life. 😭

At this point, I should clarify that both girls help pack orders.
Only one of them treats inventory like an employee benefit.

Family business means everybody helps.
Family business also means I’m currently figuring out how many packed orders equal one stolen lip balm. 🌿😂

Should she have to work it off, or is this just an executive perk? 😂
