Ogden Dreads

When one of your lovely clients has a BIG birthday coming up 🥳 you add some fun sparkles and rainbow wraps into her dreads!! I love making dreads extra pretty with wraps and beads 😍 it makes my whole day to play with my clients beautiful locks 🥰

Supa fresh extension install for ! He’s been on quite the journey, starting with a top hawk and the sides and back shaved. Then growing out the back and going for the full Mohawk. Then finally growing out the sides for the full head. This was the final look. He was a little worried about it being too much hair, but they turned out so full and dare I say…beautiful? 😆 this is what happens when you trust in the process, even the parts that make you question what the hell you’re doing 🙃 thanks for the trust my friend, hope Texas is treating you well!!

I’ll be posting more of the process later x but thought the finished look deserved a post all its own 😍

Wish I had gotten a good pic or video of the mega dread that was forming on the right side of her head, but taking good pics has never been a strength of mine 😂

It can be hard keeping dreads separated on our own, especially in the back where we can’t see what we’re doing. That’s where I come in 😎 Meghan had a few spots in the bag where her dreads were congoing together quite nicely…against her wishes! So I did what I do best and got them all back in line and tidied up the new growth. She left looking like a whole new woman 😁

How are you surviving the winter so far!?!

Got the opportunity to take on this fun project a few weeks ago! This dread/beard is made with synthetic dreadlock extensions. So I premade these and then installed the already-made dreads by braiding them directly into the beard. Pretty neat, eh? Brady was going for a pirate/Viking kinda look and I think we totally made it happen for him! What do you guys think??

Living in Utah, we are so blessed to be surrounded by beautiful scenery everywhere we go…and it’s so special to me to have amazing pictures done that capture a little bit of it 💕
