🔬 WHEN A SCIENTIST WITH DECADES OF RESEARCH EXPERIENCE STARTS TALKING ABOUT REDOX BIOLOGY, I PAY ATTENTION.

Meet Dr. Nicholas D. Gillitt, PhD, one of the scientists featured in ASEA’s new science videos.

I knew his credentials were impressive, but I wanted to know more.

So I started digging.

And his background is remarkable.

Dr. Gillitt has spent years immersed in science, with work spanning chemistry, nutrition, metabolism, exercise physiology, oxidative stress, immunometabolism, and human health research.

He has served as Vice President of Nutrition Research and Director of the Dole Nutrition Institute and has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed scientific research.

His work has explored areas including:

🔬 Oxidation and reduction chemistry
🔬 Cellular and biological signaling
🔬 Oxidative stress
🔬 Metabolism
🔬 Exercise and recovery
🔬 Nutrition and human performance
🔬 The body’s response and adaptation

And that’s what makes this so interesting to me.

Dr. Gillitt didn’t build his scientific credentials around ASEA. He brought years of scientific experience with him.

His previous research wasn’t research on ASEA products, but his background gives him a fascinating perspective from which to talk about redox biology and the complex chemistry happening within the human body.

After more than 16 years with ASEA, I continue to be fascinated by where this science is going.

Because we’re learning more and more about something extraordinary happening inside us every second:

Our cells communicate.
Our cells respond.
Our cells adapt.

And redox biology plays an important role in that story.

Dr. Gillitt puts it beautifully:
