Miss Madi was definitely ready for a little refresh after all that summer sunshine ☀️ We deepened her color, added lots of gorgeous dimension, and finished her off with a little extra love + volume for the prettiest, fuller and longer look!

I know this feels VERY early 😂💕 but if you’ll be attending prom or have a daughter attending prom, I’m already starting to get requests!

Since prom is on a Saturday this year, I won’t be creating a solid timeline just yet. For now, I’ll be taking names in the order that you reach out to me and, as we get closer, you’ll be able to choose your preferred time slot💕

This girly came in with a little bit of banding from previous lightening, so with her birthday coming up the following week, we knew we had to get her back to her blondie self💕

Working with her starting point, we added just the right amount of love, brightness, and a beautiful toner to create a more even, blended finish while keeping the integrity of her hair in mind.

Safe to say she left feeling birthday-ready and back to her blonde girlie self! 🎉💗

With all of that excitement, my days in the salon are looking a little different these days and I’ve made some adjustments now that things have settled in💕

So much patience, time, and love has gone into getting her hair to this point, and I couldn’t be happier with how it’s turning out💕

Healthy, beautiful hair is about so much more than the color service itself, it’s the result of the choices we make both in the salon and at home!

For this lovely client, her hair journey included transitioning from a bleach & tone to a dimensional blonde, and eventually to a darker blonde. While those color changes certainly play a role, consistent high heat styling between appointments had an even greater impact on the overall health of her hair.

As your stylist, my priority is always to create the hair you love while preserving its strength and integrity. Sometimes that means recommending a little extra patience instead of another lightening session, and that’s exactly what we did.

At her last appointment, I asked her to give her hair a break, put away the blow dry brush, and focus on letting it recover and grow. Three months later, she came back, and we were able to give her hair the love and care it deserved. The difference speaks for itself, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. 💕

One of the most important things to remember is that every head of hair is unique. Some hair can tolerate frequent color changes, while others thrive with a slower, more intentional approach. Listening to your stylist and to what your hair is telling you is the key to achieving long-term healthy, gorgeous hair.

If you’re using a blow dry brush every day, consider giving it a break. The combination of high heat and constant tension can lead to excessive dryness, breakage, and damage over time. Your future hair will thank you🥰
