It's officially 🍁🍂FALL 🍂🍁 in my book and tonight we took these gorgeous curls to a warm, rich brown to celebrate! We also got rid of the dry summer ends and get her hair back to being healthy! Seriously, how stunning are her curls?!?! 😍

I just want to take a moment to thank you, my amazing clients who have turned into extended family. Each and every one of you have been so flexible with the schedule changes I've had to make over the last 2 months and I couldn't be more greatful. Some of you know already know, others maybe not so I thought I'd share what's going on.

Early February I was diagnosed with Melanoma Skin Cancer. A spot was found on my temple and I was immediately set up with an oncologist who immediately partnered with a plastic surgeon. Within 2 weeks, I underwent my first surgery to remove the cancer on my temple, and remove 7 lymthnoids to see if the cancer had spread. Melanoma is the fastest spreading skin cancer and has a very high fatality rate. With my cancer being so close to the lymthnoids, that added some additional concern.

Thankfully (and "by the Grace of God" per my doctors) they were able to remove ALL the cancer from my face, and the lymthnoids came back cancer free! It's a miracle and the doctors were amazed of the results!

Without being too gross, the initial surgery left me with an open wound the size of a golfball and about 1/2" deep. I did wound care and kept it covered with gauze for a few weeks to allow my body to start to heal and make it less deep.

On March 17th, I had my 2nd surgery. This time, a skin graft. I have an incision from hip bone to hip bone that is referred to as the donor sight. They were able to take the large, golf ball size womb on my face down to 2" by 2" in diameter! 2" x 2" people!!!!

I am still recovering from the last surgery, and shouldn't have any further large surgeries. There may be some small procedures but the worst is over!!!!

I am so thankful to announce.. I AM CANCER FREE!!!!!

Please please please, I encourage everyone to see a dermetologist and get skin scan! I am not a tanner guys, I dont use tanning beds! Mine was strictly from sun.... and it can happen to ANYONE!!!!

Its getting to be that time of year.... ITS THE HOLIDAY SEASON!!!

With that being said, please, please, please try and schedule your appointments in advance! I only have 1 opening left in November, (Novembet 19th, 9am for a haircut) And my next opening for color isnt until December 3rd! I will be extending my hours the best I can to try and get everyone in but I cannot guarantee so... BOOK NOW!!!

Also, due to the crazy amount of people who want scheduled, and the limited time available, please be respectful and call if you need to cancel your appointment. Do not do a no show! I will have a wait list and if you cannot make it, Im sure someone would love to have your spot!

Lastly, if you cannot seem to get it or find a time that works, the salon will put you on my cancelation list! Dont hesitate to text me or message me on here if necessary and ill do what I can to extend my schedule for you! (Again- no guarantees)
