Today was a tough day!! I felt the need to grieve… however, I didn’t know what I was grieving. I inquired of the Lord and as I did so tears filled up. Throughout the day the Holy Spirit allowed me to feel things concerning individuals… BUT, then the Lord informed me that I’m grieving myself.

Things I use to love, things I use to do, things I once desired, so on and so forth. In this new chapter the things, people, places that I thought I needed and couldn’t live without are now the things I must leave behind; I must GRIEVE!!

So if you’re too feeling this way. You’re not crazy, you’re elevating. Give yourself grace as you grieve the old you.

Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭KJV‬
“that ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; and be renewed in the spirit of your mind; and that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.”

This part of my life is called “accept the uncomfortable journey”. Change can be uncomfortable. But, it’s necessary for change.

P.S you don’t need all the puzzle pieces you just need your YES to the Lord plan!!

Give yourself grace and show up where you’re at. If you came with just a book and a pen; then that’s all you need and the LORD will work with that. You can’t expect more if you’ve given nothing.
