Are you all about LOOKS or PERSONALITY?? Or do you need both?

You have to be attracted to someone for there to be a spark, but its the personality that matter!

Having standards isn’t a bad thing!

We are in a world saturated with people, so having a set of standards for potential partners is a good way to control the kind of people who enter your life on an intimate level!

Some of my standards are: Chivalry, Open Communication, and Romance

What are some of yours?

SOLO Dating for the WIN πŸ†

You deserve to be loved, and you are the best person to do that! Taking time to take care of yourself isn't selfish or self-centered, it's healthy!

You need to put the energy that you have for others into yourself, and you will be surprised by the results.

PS: I’ll be your Valentine Bestie πŸ’•βœ¨

Single on Valentine’s Day? πŸ€” Don’t worry bestie I am too! You’re not alone, and I realized that I am okay with not having a Valentine this year.

To be completely transparent I have never been asked to be someone’s Valentine β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή, yet I always go above and beyond for my partner at the time.

It gets exhausting living like that 😴 So I decided to date myself, and treat ME the way that I treated THEM!

Dating yourself is healthy, you get to figure out who you are and what you want out of life. You cannot forget to make yourself a priority bestie ✨

It's okay if you don't know how to process your emotions. I have the same struggle, but I am taking steps to correct that. I grew up in a culture where we were taught to get over our emotions.

With that mindset, I started to feel numb and I couldn't identify the basic emotions (happy, sad, angry, etc.) that I was feeling. But with the help of my support system and journaling, I have been able to improve in this area.

Emotions are difficult to identify and understand, but once you have the correct tools you will start the healing process...in the CORRECT WAY.

Bestie! Your emotions are valid! You have to make time to identify, feel, process, and handle your emotions.
As someone who struggles with identifying what I feel, I know how hard it can be. But let's get through this together.

When you are used to taking care of others, it is easy to forget to take care of yourself. Prioritizing your well-being and mental health is extremely important, especially if you want to become a well-rounded adult.

Self-care isn't selfish, it matters! So never forget to take care of yourself. I like to choose one day that will be dedicated to self-care including pampering and taking care of myself emotionally.
