December Rose

My .rose.marie and I a little over a year ago in Orlando, standing in line to see her first real concert for her birthday...Melanie Martinez! It was such an amazing show! The music and performances were fantastic, but the best part was watching Harley sing every lyric, scream and "fangirl", and just get excited! It was very expensive and I was paying it off for a hot moment, but it was so worth the experience!!! My wittlest Baby Bat

We live in increasingly difficult times, but I'm just hoping this is where those of us who unite in love can start a revolution.

My two Hars... and . My and , my , my , my . They They are 2 of my 3 . are actually so similar in personality and temperament. Harper definitely reminds me of when Harley was a baby!
Harley actually helped pick her youngest sister's middle name(s). With my , I sadly had a . Her name was going to be and after I lost her, I decided if/when I had another daughter, I wanted another flower name and and were at the top of that list. I love flowers/nature and I wanted to kind of honor my Lily. Harley's dad and I struggled to find names we both loved , but after a half-joking suggestion I made for Harley, after , James loved it and we both loved Rose. For a bit she was just going to be . But my brother actually brought up that I should use (Yes, an incredibly common middle name, but an important one to me because it's mine, my late mother's, my grandmother's, and my great-grandmother's as well) And I had actually loved the idea of 2 middle names since my best friend in elementary school had 2 and Harley's dad also has 2 middle names. So I decided then and there she was Harley Rose Marie. And I held onto Violet, but after years of and falling in love with my other kiddos names, it got pushed aside. And then we'd named our early on in my pregnancy and I suddenly started feeling sad that with this being my last child, I wouldn't get to use two names I had loved for ages...Xander, my favorite boy name since 6th grade and Violet. I was talking to Harley and ran the idea past her to add in Violet. I wanted her honest thoughts...since she's younger/cooler than me lol. And she loved both middle names together and that Harper'd have two middle names too. Then we just had to see what Jeremiah thought.. and surprisingly, he was on board! And Harper was actually born the same month and same day I found out I lost Lily.
So funny how things came full circle...

Harper is growing up so fast. Her doctors are happy with her weight gain so now more weekly checks. She's finally at about 7 lbs... right round where my other 3 girls were at birth. And they x-rayed her heart and it looks good! I'm so happy my littlest Baby Bat is thriving!
