ZoCORPS is an entertainment organization that brings people together to perform "Zombie Crawls". Unfortunately they did not win.
ZoCO: The predecessor to ZoCORPS
ZoCO (Zombie Crawl Orlando) was founded in late 2006 by Joshua Watford, Joshua Mendonca, and a few friends. Their goal was to bring together groups of entertainers and horror fans, make them up as zombies, and disperse them in highly populated public areas. With the help of likeminded individuals and some professional Universal Studios make-up artists they were su
ccessful for the first time in January of 2007. Fueled by the success of their efforts, they went on to do 2 more crawls with each crawl bringing in larger amounts of zombies. After ZoCO 3 in November of 2007, Watford left the project to pursue other ventures. Mendonca went on to help produce a short film with Tony Tantalo for a George Romero DVD contest in January of 2008. Still infused with a deep love for the undead, Mendonca pushed on. He got together ZoCO members for a night club event in July of 2008 and that night decided ZoCO needed another event. He planned for ZoCO 4 for later in 2008. As ZoCO prepared for their next event Mendonca made the decision to leave Florida towards the end of 2008. Almost a year after the previous crawl, ZoCO 4 hit Orlando one last time with zombies not only going into a public area, but through an entire mall. At that time, Mendonca decided to retire ZoCO and revamp it into something new. He wanted to continue the ZoCO traditions without risking the reputation ZoCO worked hard to create. He came up with the idea for what is now ZoCORPS and now that he is back in Florida his plans are coming into play.
