As the air gets drier, you may start noticing more tightness, flaking, sensitivity, or that “why does my face suddenly feel weird?” feeling.

This is usually the time to:
• ease up on exfoliation
• switch to a richer moisturizer if you need it
• keep showers and face washing on the lukewarm side
• and yes, SPF

You don’t always need a whole new routine.
Sometimes your skin just needs a little more support for the season it’s heading into.

Please stop introducing me to a new product every three business days.
I do not need to be exfoliated into submission.
Hot water is not the act of kindness you seem to think it is.
That spot you’ve checked six times today?
Still there. Please put the magnifying mirror down. 💀
And when I’m a little dry, textured, broken out, or otherwise behaving like actual human skin…
Maybe don’t panic.

Give me some consistency.
A little patience.
SPF.

And occasionally, for the love of all things hydrated, **leave me alone.** 😌

Needing a minute to settle in.

Not knowing what you need.

You don't have to show up perfectly put together. You can just show up. I’ll take care of the rest.

A breakout doesn't equal you need three new products.
A dry patch doesn't equal your entire routine stopped working.
And a little texture certainly doesn't equal something has gone wrong.
Sometimes it just needs a Wednesday.
It changes with weather, hormones, stress, sleep, and an undisclosed amount of other things it feels entitled to have opinions about.
Give it a minute before you declare war.
