1. Washing Too Often or with Harsh Shampoo: Frequent washing, especially with sulfate-containing shampoos, strips color from your hair.

2. Heat Styling and Sun Exposure: Regular use of hot tools (like flat irons or curling wands) and prolonged sun exposure can break down hair color molecules, leading to fading.

3. Not Using Color-Safe or UV-Protectant Products: Regular hair products without UV filters or color-protecting ingredients can accelerate fading, especially if you’re outdoors often or swimming in chlorinated water.

I graduated from Hays Academy of Hair Design in February 2024. I decided to jumpstart my career by moving to Kansas City! Being from a small town, this has been a very big change for me. Fortunately, it has brought nothing but new opportunities & experiences!
