Senior year is officially here. 💙

Beginning this week, Thursday and Friday appointments will be limited to mornings and afternoons only. I won't be offering late evening (4pm) appointments on those days.

As many of you know, this is my baby's senior year. Between football, school events, senior activities and all the "lasts" that come with this year there may be times I need to adjust my schedule.

If I ever need to reschedule your appointment, I promise I'll give you as much notice as possible and make sure we have plenty of time to get you back on schedule. Unless, of course, my teenager does what teenagers do best and tells me about something at the last minute. 😂

If you already know you'll need an appointment for upcoming events, fall or the holidays, I encourage you to book ahead. My schedule will be a little less flexible this year and I want to make sure I can get everyone taken care of.

Thank you for your patience, kindness and continued support so I get to be present for these BIG moments with my family. I don't take that for granted and I'm so thankful for each of you. ❤️

There are some wedding mornings that feel extra special, and this was one of them. 🤍

Today I had the privilege of styling hair for a bride whose family has been a part of my life and career for years. I've had a front-row seat to so many chapters of their story.

It's hard to put into words what that means. As hairstylists, we often become part of life's biggest moments... first dates, proms, graduations, new babies, and wedding days. Watching this family grow through the years and then seeing this beautiful bride surrounded by such a fun, loving bridal party was incredibly special.

She was stunning. The day was filled with laughter, happy tears and so much love.

Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of such a big day. It's moments like these that remind me that this job is about so much more than hair.

Congratulations to the newlyweds. May your marriage be filled with endless laughter, unwavering love and a lifetime of beautiful memories. ✨

Being a hairstylist is such a weird little corner of life sometimes. 🤍

We don’t just do hair. We walk through seasons with people.

We’ve seen the prom nerves, the graduation tears, the wedding mornings, the breakups, the new jobs, the babies, the losses, the glow ups, and the “I just need a change” appointments. Somewhere between foils and life updates, clients become friends … and some become family.

So I just wanted to say this because I think people need to hear it more often:

I do not “own” my clients.

You are allowed to try new things. Maybe I’m not in your budget anymore. Maybe our schedules no longer line up. Maybe you’re scared to ask for a different style or color. Maybe life just shifted ... and honestly? That’s okay.

Yes, sometimes the not knowing why will drive us crazy, but that’s only because we care. 🤍

But please never feel awkward walking back into my chair. There’s no expiration date on support or care over here.

And if I ever did something wrong, missed the mark or made you feel unseen, you can tell me. I’m human too. Growth only happens when people communicate.

At the end of the day, I’ll always appreciate every person who has trusted me with not only their hair, but pieces of their life story too. That part never goes unnoticed.
