For the year 2021 it was stressful and one of the biggest tests I have experienced. I went to nail school from January until April. In July I took the theory part of the state board and passed with ease. A couple of months later in September I took the practical and failed. I rescheduled for November to take the practical again. To my surprise I failed and started to second guess becoming a nail tech, if I wasted my time, however, talking to people, getting help practicing, and believing in myself I decided to reschedule for the 22nd of December. While taking that test, I was nervous and shaking. Passing the state board was my goal which I have accomplished. The Moral of the story is don’t ever doubt or give up on yourself or your dreams A little hard work and consistency anything possible.
