Faye began her career as a makeup artist in 1984. As a designer, she created new images for women in the Baltimore, Washington metropolitan areas.

Faye worked for professional photographers, modeling agencies, wedding consultants and physicians. She taught plastic surgery patients and dermatology patients the art of corrective makeup.
