Today we are at church, worshiping and giving thanks, then enjoying a day of rest with family, just as God has so beautifully designed. There is something special about slowing down, being present, and remembering that rest is not wasted time. It is part of His rhythm for us.

Nehemiah was building what God called him to build, and distractions came knocking. Fear came. Lies came. Pressure came. People tried to pull him away from the work.

But his answer was steady: I can’t come down.

That’s a word for us today.

Not every interruption needs your attention.
Not every voice deserves your response.
Not every distraction is worth stepping away from your God-given assignment.

Whether you’re building your home, your business, your faith, your family, your health, or your peace, keep your hands on the work God has placed in front of you.

Stay focused. Stay prayerful. Stay faithful.

My heart is still heavy after the fire here in Allentown. We are thanking God that our family is safe, but I know there are families nearby who were directly affected, displaced, or may have lost so much.

As a small way to help, S&E Natural Soaps would like to offer basic care items to families affected by the fire, while supplies last. This may include soap, lip balm, lotion, deodorant, or other hygiene essentials we have available.

If you or someone you know was directly affected by the fire, please send us a private message. If you know a family who was impacted and they are not on Facebook, please feel free to share this with them or help connect us privately.

No one should have to go through something like this alone. We are praying for every family affected, for comfort, provision, shelter, and strength as they begin to recover.
