Dr. Marina Sharifi is breaking down breast cancer's defenses by focusing on overcoming drug resistance, a major hurdle in metastatic breast cancer therapy. Using liquid biopsies, she's pinpointing exactly why some cancer treatments stop working. Her research aims to unlock new ways to beat this resistance, potentially leading to more successful outcomes for patients.
