First let me trim off your stringy ends. They look nasty if I’m being real and TRUST me, even though we’re taking off length, it will make your color you invested $$ into look soooooo much better. You will notice growth quicker because you won’t have your ends breaking off anymore.

Then I love to pack in the foils heavy. Applying the foils with a placement that you have a blended and soft grow out. Allowing for less maintenance.

I gloss you at the bowl to best match the preferred tone or to correct any unwanted tone from lifting. Root tap if an extra touch is needed to blend the root.

Being vulnerable as a stylist for a minute 🤍

Sometimes as artists, we are our own biggest critics. This client left with beautiful hair, but truthfully… I wasn’t fully satisfied with the blend. I could see a slight disconnect between her natural hair and the extensions laying underneath, and I knew in my gut that I could do better.

Most clients probably would’ve never noticed it the way I did, but I did.

The best results are always what I strive for, especially with extensions. My goal is never just “good enough.” My goal is seamless, natural, confidence-boosting hair that both my client and I feel amazing about.

So the next day, I reached back out to her with a solution and had her come back in so I could make adjustments. We added a darker weft that better matched her natural base and melted down into her brighter extensions, which gave her:
✨ more density
✨ a softer transition
✨ better dimension
✨ and a much more seamless blend overall

The first photo is the original install that I knew still needed refinement. The following photos are the corrected result after making those changes.

I share this because I think transparency matters. No stylist is perfect every single time, but what matters most to me is caring enough to make it right and continuing to grow in my craft.

If you notice dryness, brittleness, rough texture, or increased breakage after lightening services, your home care routine matters just as much as what happens in the salon. Bleaching and bonding services still put stress on the hair, even when done professionally and carefully.

Some of my favorite maintenance products for keeping the integrity of blonde hair strong at home are:
• Redken Acidic Bonding Concentrate products for strengthening, moisture, and helping maintain elasticity
• L’Oréal Professionnel repair and moisturizing lines for softness, manageability, and overall hair health between appointments

A few important reminders for blonding maintenance:
✨ High-quality moisturizing products are not optional for blondes — they are necessary
✨ Professional shampoo, conditioner, masks, oils, and heat protectants truly make a difference in how your hair feels and lasts
✨ Going lighter too often can compromise the integrity of your hair, even with bond builders
✨ Hair should generally not be lightened any sooner than every 8 weeks to help maintain strength and prevent excessive damage

Healthy blonde hair is always the goal — not just light hair. The best blondes are the ones that still feel soft, strong, and wearable long after you leave the salon 🤍

As of May 18th, I will be starting a new chapter and returning to school to pursue a different direction in my career while continuing to run my business over the next four years. Between balancing school, my business, both kids’ schedules, and making sure I allow myself personal and family time as well, I will need to become more strict with my scheduling flexibility moving forward.

What is available online during the week is what is available. I will no longer be able to regularly accommodate additional weekday scheduling requests outside of those posted openings.

• A 20% weekend upcharge will apply
