Pascagoula Miss Hospitality

This Thursday, I had the chance to return to Jackson Elementary, not only as Miss Hospitality Pascagoula, but as a proud Jackson alumna. Walking back into these halls and sharing my story with students was such a special full-circle moment for me.❤️

We talked about kindness, leadership, community, and how unique Pascagoula is, but most importantly, how unique and special they are too. With Jackson Elementary closing and so many students stepping into new schools and new chapters, I just wanted to remind them that change can be scary, but it can also be the start of something amazing.

I shared stories and photos of former Jackson students who have gone on to do amazing things, and I’m so thankful to the alumni who helped me show these students just how far their dreams can take them.

To the students, thank you for your kindness, curiosity and sweet spirits. Thank you to Ms. Williams, the staff, and the entire Jackson Elementary family for being so welcoming and kind. This visit meant more to me than you know!

We’re collecting hygiene products, snacks, socks, and other everyday essentials to help create care kits for our unhoused community💟

Introducing Project Worth 💜

This initiative was created to turn awareness into action through community-centered service projects, beginning with hygiene and essential item drives for our unhoused community.

Starting Wednesday, donation boxes will be located at:
• Ramey’s in Pascagoula
• Pascagoula High School

Items like socks, wipes, hygiene products, snacks, and other essentials are greatly appreciated.

Mother’s Day in the restaurant industry is never easy! 😅❤️💐

Long hours, nonstop tables, and little time to slow down

However, there’s something so rewarding about being part of so many families’ special moments.🩵

Today was my first shift home from college back at The Italian Bistro in Downtown Pascagoula, and after 3 years here, I’m so grateful for the lessons in hard work, hospitality, and community it has given me.

And like any fast-paced environment, mistakes happen sometimes and not every moment is perfect. But Hospitality has taught me that even the imperfect moments can be opportunities to grow in grace and compassion.

Days like this remind me that true hospitality is showing up with grace, even in the chaos.

Today was such a special full-circle moment getting to return to Pascagoula High School’s Educators Rising program that once helped shape me as a student and celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week as Miss Hospitality Pascagoula 💜
I’m so grateful to Mrs. Green for inviting me and for the chance to spend time passing out treats with such hardworking teachers and inspiring students. Getting to visit my former teachers like Mrs. Richardson, who played such a big role in my love for journalism and storytelling, meant so much to me. Days like today remind me how lucky I am to come from a community filled with people who truly pour into others. It’s always so good to be home 🩵
