Stamily Acres

With the anticipated rain tomorrow, Stamily Acres WILL be at the Flower Court in Newton (indoors) but we WON'T be setting up our stand at Osky Farmer's Market. Last week we so appreciated everyone who braved the rain to support us and the other vendors, but we want to protect our inventory and equipment!

We're planning to be at Osky Farmer's Market the rest of the season: Oct 3, 10, and 17!

Stop by for a kit to make the BEST elderberry apple c***r!!

Come one, come all, to Pella's last farmer's market of the fall!

Stock up on elderberry jelly, get your elderberry syrup kits for all the bugs going around, get an elderberry apple c***r kit--your house will smell heavenly and the c***r is delicious!!

Ready to have a cozy (maybe a little drippy) evening tomorrow night? It's hard to believe that our final Market of the 2026 season is here! Tomorrow we celebrate our Fall Finale with:

🎸Live music from Chief Shane
🍿Popcorn
☕Hot c***r as we gather for one last Market evening!

We want thank all of you for following along with us this season! We are so grateful for our vendors who faithfully brought their products, creativity, enthusiasm and support.

We also want to give a shout out to our patrons who helped us make connections, supported our vendors and helped us foster a sense of community!

So let's take this final evening to celebrate a great season together! Bring your fall spirit, your smiles, and let's enjoy the FALL FINALE together. We would love to see you, rain or shine!

We're dividing and conquering on Saturday with Phil going to Osky Farmer's Market and Laura heading to Flower Court in Newton from 10-2 (Formerly De Bloemen Hof of Pella)!

🍂VENDOR REVEAL🍂

Stamily Acres will be here at our Fall Small Business Market on Saturday, September 26 from 10 AM to 2 PM selling freeze-dried elderberries and elderberry syrup kits, freeze-dried fruits, elderberry jelly, elderberry apple c***r kits, elderberry lemonade! 🫐🍎🍋

The techy member of the Stamily put together this order form for all our products!

He did such a nice job, and we're excited for how convenient this should make ordering! Check it out!

2026 elderberry harvest is now in the books! We're so thankful for a safe, fruitful harvest. How fruitful, you might ask? 1,000.2 lbs! We all cheered when the last bucket of de-stemmed berries was weighed and we'd made our goal with 0.2 lbs to spare. Woo-hoo!

Shoot us a message or visit us at Pella Farmers' Market Thursday from 4-7 if you want in on some of this bounty!

Our elderberry harvest is nearly complete, and we're excited to bring our frozen and freeze-dried elderberries to Oskaloosa Vendor and Farmers Market tomorrow from 9-12 on the square! We'll have EB syrup kits to support your family through cold and flu season, EB jelly ready to make the best breakfast toast or PBJ sandwich ever, and our refreshing elderberry lemonade to sip while you stroll the market! Come see us under the purple canopy!

Our elderberries are now at the Three VP's Farm farmstand west of Bussey on Hwy G71 near Hwy 5! They also have a variety of seasonal produce, delicious salsas, focaccia, eggs, poultry, pork and more--check out this neat family's farmstand!! Thanks, VPs!!!

It's a chestnut!! We planted 70 Chinese chestnuts back in November of 2023, and we have 4 burrs developing! Hopefully we'll have enough to experiment with and enjoy by 2030, and by 2037, we should be harvesting a solid crop to share. Agroforestry isn't productive quickly, but we're enjoying watching our chestnuts grow. And the sunsets... I'll always enjoy watching them!!
