I had the BEST time at the Higgy Con this past weekend in Dallas! We made the news as the biggest scoliosis event with close to 600 people! I won a big bear in a raffle, made lots of friends, and got tons of mini bears to donate to scoli kids, and even got to see the Braves play! I plan on visiting my friend from physical therapy who is having surgery in October and got lots of goodies to make her a care package now! 🐻💚
It was a very fun, fulfilling and educational weekend!

💚 Happy International Scoliosis Awareness Day! 💚

The last Saturday in June is recognized around the world as scoliosis awareness day. Today is the day to thank scoliosis treatment providers and researchers for doing what they do. Thanks to them, there are more scoliosis treatment options than ever and our field of knowledge continues to expand. THANK YOU!

It's also the day to celebrate the children and parents around the world that are navigating through a diagnosis of scoliosis. Remember, you are STRONGER THAN SCOLIOSIS!

Finally, it's a great day to schedule an appointment with your child's health provider for a spine health check-up. Scoliosis can progress quickly, especially during growth spurts, so be sure to ASK ABOUT SCOLIOSIS!

Not all days are Glitz and Glam! Some days are hard but having a positive attitude can make all the difference in making hard days not so hard!
On a high note- Got my new brace and met my fanastic orthopedic surgeon and orthotist at Nemours in Wilmington, Delaware and they have an awesome playground!
