Congratulations are in order for Becca Sievert on a remarkable achievement!

Becca has successfully completed her Esthetics Education through Summit Academy. This accomplishment is not just a testament to her dedication and hard work, but also a moment of pride for everyone who has supported her along the way.

Over the past few months, many of you have had the pleasure of meeting Becca as she apprenticed at the spa. Her enthusiasm and commitment to her craft have been evident to all who have interacted with her. Her journey in esthetics has been one of growth and learning, and her presence at the spa has brought fresh energy and warmth. For those who have been long-time clients of the Alter Ego Spalon, Becca's achievements feel personal. Over the past 18 years, many of you have watched her grow from a child into the accomplished young woman she is today. Her journey has been intertwined with the community, making this celebration one that touches many hearts.

As Becca steps into this new chapter of her life, armed with knowledge and experience, the future holds endless possibilities. Her commitment to excellence and her passion for esthetics promise a bright future. We look forward to seeing her continue to succeed and inspire those around her.

I have made every effort to pass on everything I know, but my diagnosis brought that to an abrupt halt. Fortunately, she is a fast learner, and I was able to sit back and observe her progress. I retired a bit sooner than I expected and am now concentrating on my health and enjoying my husband and the Florida sunshine. I hope to visit often, but rest assured, you are in the most capable hands possible.

Hello lovely friends and fabulous clients,

I just wanted to share a little life update with you all, as my responses have been slower than a snail on vacation lately. Last Tuesday, Oct 7th, I took an unexpected trip to the hospital after an intense seizure. Surprise, surprise—a walnut-sized tumor decided to make my left frontal lobe its home sweet home. I mean we all know how much I like squirrels right?!? The good news!!!! This little nugget has not spread anywhere or metastasized from anywhere else! After recovery from surgery and dependent on pathology a treatment regiment of proton radiation and chemotherapy will follow.

I've got a date with the surgery team this Wednesday morning to pluck out this unwanted guest. And a request for my girls and Mel for the removal of any unwanted facial or body hairs as well ;) I'm beyond grateful for my incredible family and a medical team. Your prayers and good vibes are so welcoming, giving us the strength to power through. My husband is bravely facing this with the courage of a thousand lions, even though it's not the honeymoon adventure we'd planned and our warm weather move will be put on hold through treatments. He has been my rock and the true example of a dad to my girls and Papa to the babes that they should have always had; and I am so thankful God carved our path to be together and look forward to continuing that path through and after my recovery.

Please keep our kids and grandkids in your heart as well. They do not deserve this but they're bravely standing in this journey with us, stepping up and taking over as they can. Your prayers for their strength mean the world to me for them. We're ready to tackle this with grace, hope and all our faith in God. We'll keep you in the loop on Facebook and feel free to text, but don't expect lightning-fast replies from my husband or the kiddos—they're juggling a lot right now.

If you have a spa appointment with Becca and me, please give us a heads-up if you can't make it or if you're feeling under the weather. We can not jeopardize catching a cold, flu, etc. It's crucial for me to ensure her apprenticeship continues without risking anyone's health.
