It’s been a summer for sure this year! The July shows went fabulous but not without weather. It is now as last year, a big factor in outdoor shows. I have survived with minimal damage but it reduces foot traffic and no one wants to be in a park with a thunderstorm including myself!
I will be in paradise, MI this coming weekend at the wild blueberry festival. It’s a Friday Saturday and Sunday show and yes, rain is expected for the weekend. Good thing uppers are a tough cookie! I have been putting info about the buckwheat hull pillows in my booth and I think it’s certainly raising awareness about what we sleep on. So much so that I am constantly sewing these days and nights. I have a new power source that I take with me so I can sew at the shows. It’s pretty nice so customers can pick the patterns they like and have it custom sewn right there!
So for the rest of the season here are the shows that have finalized with more not yet finished.

Happy spring, for those of you who live where it looks like spring! For those of us living in the northern tundra, its still very white up here. I have been grumbling more than I ought to, but I want to see my property snowless and get into the garden!
On the plus side, it is sewing time and getting ready for the show season and those activities have to be done inside.
I have been reworking some of my old patterns and trying to make them better and affordable. I think i have a nice version of happy feet now that both feet fit into so it might be more enjoyable.
