A well-rested household could be as easy as a few minor adjustments.
Did you know our team offers sleep support? (this is NOT cry-it-out)
We just had a Babies on the Main Line baby go from waking every 30 minutes to sleeping through the night by VERY minor adjustments 🥳
Feel free to reach out if you are struggling with sleep 🥰

We love when clients get to meet more than one of our doulas 🥰
Our goal, as a team, is to provide evidence-based care, encouragement, and confidence to each parent we work with. Each doula brings a different perspective and experience-level to each home.
We love our families!

Donor milk is not the plan that families start with but sometimes it becomes a part of the story anyways.
Our team has supported families from all different backgrounds and stories. Many times, donor milk is needed due to supply issues with mom, adoptive/surrogate families, medically fragile infants, or even just the reassurance of having extra milk 'just incase'.
At Babies on the Main Line, we hold space for every family no matter the feeding journey. If donor milk is something you are unsure of or interested in, we will help you connect with trusted sources as best as we can.
Did you know that Dana on our team donated milk to the NICU for 3 years?!
If you are a milk donor, or have received donor milk past or present, comment below 👇👇👇

If you have ever felt a tender and painful lump in your breast, you have experienced a clog!
Clogs can be caused by:
An oversupply;
Milk not being removed frequently enough;
Tight and restrictive clothing (specifically bras and tank tops)
Clogs can be prevented by:
Managing the oversupply;
Connecting with an ibclc and pediatric dentist to assess babies latch, check for ties and oral restrictions;
Wear loose clothing;
Feed or removal milk frequently.
If you have a clog, the current guidelines recommend using ICE not HEAT. While heat can provide instant relief, heat can actually increase swelling. Clogs are inflamed and narrow ducts. Ice can reduce the swelling and encourage the passing of the clogs.
If you are struggling with frequent clogs, reach out to us to help troubleshoot the root cause!

We love our families!
When a previous client leaves a review, they are not just showing appreciation to the doula, but also providing reassurance and a sense of trust for the next family.
Your words make a big impact! Oftentimes they act as the bridge for a new mom trying to find the perfect fit for her baby and her family.

At Babies on the Main Line, we see how crucial it is to have a postpartum plan.
Exceptional care isn't just a luxury. It's a necessity.
Our team supports a limited amount of families each month to ensure every mom, dad, and baby receive an individualized plan for the postpartum period.
For some, care looks like 6 weeks of support.
For many, care is 12+ weeks of support.
No matter the length of time, our doulas are prepared to formulate a plan, and help accomplish it.
