Do you use products with formaldehyde? 🤭 No, because its super harmful and exacerbates cancer growth. But guess what?

But.... you may - and I know for certain several of my friends do. And if you are using a pretty popular skincare line, your products may secretly contain this carcinogen. Sometimes it is in baby and kids products - scary.

DMDM Hydantoin or Diazolidinyl Urea (there are more listed in the linked article) are formaldehyde-releasing preservatives. What does this mean? Basically, it releases formaldehyde and does all the pretty terrible things formaldehyde does. It's a pretty scary toxin and worth learning about.

The most upsetting part is that the EU recognizes the danger of these formaldehyde-releasing ingredients and has banned them. But not in the US.... Vote with your dollars. Choose safer. I would love to help you find something safer that is just as effective as what you currently use.
