Kambo cleanse ceremony Racap:
I had the privilege of experiencing a sacred frog medicine ceremony in Mexico. Kambo is a healing ritual used mainly in South America. It’s derived from the secretions of a giant monkey/tree frog.

Indigenous people have used kambo for centuries to heal and cleanse the body by strengthening its natural defenses and warding off bad luck. It was also believed to increase stamina and hunting skills. It is also said the purify the body and help stop addictions and depression.

Kambo is applied topically to superficial burns on the body where it directly enters the lymphatic and circulatory systems. It forces the body to purge any toxins and restores imbalances.

Before Kambo is applied there is a fasting period (minimum of 12 hours). I fasted for about 36 hrs before my session. Within 2-5 mins the effects were felt.

I felt it flowing through my body and it felt like my organs were being manually squeezed forcing out toxins. And out did they come lol. It came in waves of about 10 mins and I threw up about 4-5 times over the course of about 40 mins. The amount of mucus that came out of me was insane.

After the unpleasantness subsided I felt light and relaxed. I also felt pretty clearheaded and focused. There was also a bit of euphoria. The more time passed the more those feelings took hold. Physically my skin was super clear and overall I felt amazing.

My first real post in well over a year. I’m back on the east coast after a life altering, life transforming trip to Mexico.
