My client came in with previous work, so the goal wasn’t simply to go over what was already there. I mapped a new shape based on her facial features + bone structure, while making sure the previous pigment could be properly covered.

That’s why the pre-draw is so important. It allows us to see the shape, balance and placement before anything becomes permanent.

The final result? More structure, better symmetry and a shape that complements her face. 🤎

Fresh Ombre Brows will soften as they heal for a more natural, powdery finish.

Let’s talk about the redness 👀 One thing I always want my clients to understand is that every person’s skin responds differently to permanent makeup! Some clients finish their appointment with little to no redness at all, while others may experience temporary redness, slight swelling, or tenderness around the brow area. Both can be completely normal immediately following the service. 🫶🏽 During Ombre Brows, pigment is deposited into the skin using a tattoo machine, so the skin is naturally being stimulated. How much redness or swelling you see can depend on your skin’s sensitivity & your individual response to the procedure. As her skin calms down, the redness will subside. And remember: fresh brows are not healed brows. 🤍 They will initially look darker and more defined before softening into that beautiful powdery finish Ombre Brows are known for. So if you leave your appointment a little pink or slightly swollen, don’t panic. And if you leave with absolutely no redness, that’s normal too.
