If I could give one tip to families just starting their homeschool journey, it would be this: find your people. Find your community.

Homeschooling can feel overwhelming at first… you’re figuring out curriculum, routines, expectations, and probably second-guessing yourself along the way. But the moment you plug into a community, everything changes.

Find a local co-op. Find a park group. Find the moms who are a few steps ahead and the families walking right beside you. These are the people who share ideas, swap resources, pray with you, celebrate your wins, and remind you that you’re not alone on the hard days.

This week was the perfect example of why community matters. Our co-op came together for a friendship Valentine’s exchange with 77 kids… and it was pure joy. Our kids had so much fun creating their boxes, but even more fun filling their friends’ boxes with little Valentine surprises. Moments like that remind us that homeschool doesn’t mean missing out… it means building something intentional together.

Your kids gain friendships, group learning experiences, and memories they’ll carry for years. And you? You gain encouragement, support, and a village walking alongside you on the journey.

Because homeschooling isn’t just about what your kids learn… it’s about who you walk with while you’re learning it. 🤍

As moms, it can feel like the everyday moments are small.. packing lunches, wiping tears, driving to practices, repeating the same reminders. But Jesus calls us salt and light, which means the quiet, faithful things we do matter more than we realize.

Salt changes everything it touches. Light makes the way visible.
When we love our kids patiently, model kindness, speak truth, and keep showing up even when we’re tired… we are shaping hearts. We are preserving what is good in our homes. We are shining light in places that need it most.

You don’t have to be loud to be impactful.
You just have to stay connected to Him… and your life will naturally glow in the way your family needs.
