ReBeauty
ReBeauty Balms for the Body and Spirit Balm (n.)any aromatic preparation used in healing wounds or soothing pain, or as a perfume or in anointing" (late 14c.).
Hence ,the transferred sense of "healing or soothing influence" (1540s). ReBeauty began when my infant daughter, Rebecca,
was failing to thrive due to severe multiple food protein allergies. One of her symptoms was severe atopic eczema. In desperation to bring comfort to my baby, and in frustration with the insufficient products available, I learned how to create balms that soothed her dry, itchy, and painful skin. I research the properties of various carrier oils, butters, essential oils, and herbs, and learn how to apply the knowledge to create effective and pleasant skin treatments. I do not claim any medical benefits of my products, but I do suggest uses. ReBeauty products are formulated using natural ingredients which, when possible or practical, are grown
in my garden or locally foraged. I also buy local beeswax. ReBeauty products do not contain
chemical preservatives. While the shelf life does tend to be long, it is not indefinite and spoilage may occur. The product should be discarded if you feel it has spoiled or gone rancid. ReBeauty makes many kinds of bath and beauty remedies. I receive special requests from friends, family,
and customers to create products to suit multifaceted purposes. I make balm for climbers and gardeners. I make salve to soothe emotional and physical pain. I make products that comfort the skin and muscle conditions of active people, and that nourish mature skin. My products include balms and salves, lip balm, lotion, deodorant, sun screen, diaper rash ointment, shaving cream, lotion bars, salt and sugar scrubs, spray lotion, perfume, room deodorizer, bug spray, and hair care products. The products tend to be more concentrated than you are accustomed to and you may find you need to use less. In addition, no chemical emulsifiers are used. Sometimes this results in the product separating. This can be resolved by re-emulsifying in your hand, or by melting at a low temp and vigorously shaking or stirring to return it to a creamy consistency. I often use tinctures in my products to utilize whole herbs instead of purchasing essential oils. Tinctures are made from locally harvested herbs and distilled grain alcohol. The tincture is also a preservative. [email protected] Jennie Frankus www.facebook.com/ReBeauty Pinedale, WY
