Welcome Kristen to the Aesthera team!✨

Kristen Benz is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who specializes in aesthetic dermatology. A proud Cal Poly SLO alumnus, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science Pre-Medicine, earning President’s Honors. Initially accepted into Veterinary School, she later shifted her educational path to become a Physician Assistant. Her early career in Family Medicine, Women’s Health, and Podiatry/Orthopedics prepared her for her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Touro University Nevada in Las Vegas. Additionally, she holds a Diplomate Fellowship from the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, further enhancing her expertise in the dermatology specialty.

Kristen’s passion for skin health and aesthetic dermatology began early, during a decade long struggle with cystic acne. Her personal experience with a chronic skin condition has only strengthened her bond with her patients. Nothing is more fulfilling for her than guiding them toward healthier skin and a more confident life.
