Sometimes spray tan artist we have our own lingo. And, it can be confusing to someone who’s getting a spray tan. So, I’m gonna breakdown some of the most common phrases all spray tan artist use and say.

🖤DHA- Dihydroxyacetone is the primary ingredient in spray tans and other sunless tanning products that gives the skin a tanned appearance.

💛Professional Airbrush Artist- A trained individual who uses a spray gun or machine to apply a sunless tan to a client's skin.

🖤Bronzer- A colored ingredient in a spray tanning solution that provides an immediate tan appearance and helps guide the application of the solution.

💛Exfoliate- The process of removing dead skin cells and dirt from the top layer of the skin.
