Festivities at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility continue! Today, staff and residents participated in the “dress like a Christmas tree” contest. We also had a “create your own mug” activity as well as a delicious Mac & Cheese bar provided by our dietary department.

Come out on this beautiful autumn morning to the Integritus Healthcare Harvest Run at the BCC Paterson Field House! For 20 years Berkshire Healthcare (now Integritus Healthcare) has been sponsoring this event in support of the Berkshire Community College Nursing Program.
Run starts at 10 am (still can register - just show up) with a free kids fun run at 10:45! Also our Berkshire County skilled nursing communities will be showing off their creative skills with Wizard Of Oz Themed booths and a food cook off. Going to be a fun morning - come out and join us!

We delayed celebrating National Nursing Home Week at Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility due to COVID-19. But this week staff and residents are now enjoying all we have to offer!
Wednesday we celebrated National S'mores Day accompanied by a raffle and spirited games of B-I-N-G-O. Our big winner was CNA -Brook Boos - who won a delightful movie-themed basket complete with gift cards to the The Beacon Cinema!

Staff, residents, and families rallied in support of Asher, the nephew of our nurse Amy Altiery, who is fighting (and winning!) against cancer. Between various fundraising efforts and with donations generously given from The Jimmy Fund, Amy’s family was gifted over $1,100.

The Ralph J. Froio Pittsfield Senior Center was so appreciative of the donated pies that were home baked by Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility Dietary Manager Michelle Stone and her team, and delivered by Admissions Coordinator, Travis Millie, yesterday as they hosted an early Thanksgiving celebration for around 100 people!
We love this time of year where its all about giving!

As we wrap up National Healthcare Food Services Week we wold like to highlight our amazing Dietary Director - Michelle Stone. Michelle has been with Mt. Greylock Extended Care Facility for 4 ½ years. She was trained as a chef at the Culinary Institute of America and is always making delicious treats for our residents and staff.
Here you will see her and the dietary and activities staff along with residents making delicious Fall Pumpkin and Apple pies!
