I wanted to share a life update with you all! First of all, I got married! But with that comes some even bigger news. Most of you know that my husband is in the military, and we’ve known for a while that a move was coming. It’s official now—we’ll be relocating to California as he starts his next chapter, and that means my time behind the chair at House of Beauty is coming to an end.

Being part of House of Beauty has been more than a job. It’s been a home. From the amazing team who has taught me how to be the stylist I am today, to the amazing clients that have taught me so so SO many things, I learned something new everyday. House of beauty was a place where I’ve grown not just as a stylist, but as a person—because of every single one of you who has sat in my chair. Thank you for trusting me, supporting me, venting with me, laughing with me, and sharing your life with me. When I was having the worst day, you all always managed to help put a smile on my face. You’ve been with me through so many seasons, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that.

My last day in the salon will be August 12th. (If you have an appointment scheduled out past that date, I will be contacting you shortly to reschedule you) If you’d like to come in one last time—or even just stop by to say hi—I’d absolutely love to see you! I will be taking appointments up until August 12th.

To make this goodbye a little easier, I’ve personally handpicked a stylist at House of Beauty for each of you—someone I trust completely to take care of you the way I would. If you need help connecting with them, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I promise you’ll be in amazing hands.

While I may be heading to California, part of my heart will always be here—with you, with House of Beauty, and with the memories I’ll carry forever. This isn’t goodbye forever… just see you later.

This is not the kind of post I ever thought I’d have to make. My best friend and her boyfriend have tragically and unexpectedly lost their beautiful baby girl. We are absolutely heartbroken for them and want to do everything we can to support them as they grieve and begin to heal.
