Hickory Haven Honey

Over 10 years ago, Hickory Haven Honey began as a lifelong commitment to the honeybee right here in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. For the last eight years, I have shared that passion with our community through an uncompromised, small-batch raw honey. I intentionally manage just 10 to 12 colonies each year along the rolling hills and local flora of eastern Nebraska. This deliberate, small scale allows me to protect the health of my bees and the absolute purity of my signature Raw Local Honey. Handled with deep respect for the hive, my honey is never heated and only run through a coarse strainer. By skipping high heat and micro-filtration, I ensure the natural, therapeutic bee propolis, local Nebraska pollen, and active enzymes stay completely intact. I bottle my honey exclusively in glass jars to preserve its raw, authentic artisanal flavor and purity. At Hickory Haven Honey, I am dedicated and passionate and plan to keep bees in Plattsmouth for many years to come. My goal is to bring my customers honest service and the highest quality most wholesome raw honey you deserve.

This year has been an banner year for me and I have tons of honey for sale. I am offering single pints (1.5 lbs.) for $12 and single quarts (3 lbs. ) for $24. I give a break when you buy 4 or more quarts and offer those for $22 per quart. I even have 5 gallon pails which weigh 60 lbs. and I offer those for $350. Please reach out to me via messenger of text @ 402.301.8726.
I only offer local pick up and can meet up for quantities of 4 quarts or more.

Thank you to all my existing and new customers. I appreciate each and everyone of you.

Kind Regards,

Matt Bohnert
