PASSENGER DOMINIQUE REEVES, 29, WAS REMOVED FROM A CRUISE AFTER CREW DISCOVERED SHE HAD CONVERTED HER CABIN INTO A FULLY OPERATIONAL HAIR SALON SERVING PAYING PASSENGERS Miami, Florida — Dominique Reeves, 29, was removed from a Carnival cruise ship and banned from rebooking after crew say she taped a handwritten "HAIR BY DOMINIIQUE" price list to her cabin door and ran a full-service salon out of the room for three days, complete with a rolling styling chair, a cape, and a dresser lined with product. Crew say Reeves advertised cuts for $25 and braids for $40, drawing a steady stream of passengers who found the sign while walking the hallway between excursions. Reeves allegedly booked appointments through a paper sign-up sheet she kept taped to the same door Witnesses say she served at least a dozen clients over the three days before crew intervened Crew say hair clippings and product were found clogging the cabin's bathroom drain during inspection She reportedly told guest services she was "just helping people out, not really running a business" Security intervened after a competing salon guest complained about the unlicensed pricing undercutting the ship's spa Fellow passengers described the setup as "surprisingly professional" given it was operating out of a standard cabin. "In 13 years working cruise security, I've never had to shut down a hair salon in a passenger room," said onboard security officer Marisol Chen. The rolling styling chair itself was reportedly unavailable for comment, currently held by guest services. She cut and braided cabin-side, now her cruising days have been denied.
