Thank you to Kalamazoo Public Library for hosting us this Monday! We did an elderberry syrup workshop and had lots of fun, as seen be the smiles in the pictures! Be sure to check out their website and see the future workshops coming up (spoiler: they are super cool).

I am lucky enough to be tagging along with an amazing knowledgeable mentor and friend learning all things bees this year. These are not my bees, but soon I hope to hae bees back on my property. I’ve learned so much and honestly don’t even feel like I’m scratching the surface! Last week while we were checking in in hives we spotted the queen. I got to mark hwr! First time ever seeing and holding the queen. I was so excited and honored to not only see her but to hold her. Bees are amazing little creatures and tell us so much if we listen! Here’s a picture of me holding the queen juat after I marked her 🙂
