Back in 2005, from the corner of a poorly lit garage, CIVILIAN was born. Back then, every bike was hand-built by Tyson Hart with a simple goal - to build simple and beautiful, purpose-built bicycles as unique as the riders who rode them. A rider’s ride!
That hasn’t changed...what has changed is a realigned focus on dirt first bikes, handmade in small batches, right here in Portland, Oregon. Coupled with an unmatched fervor for what riding dirt really means.
