Eagle Tavern to host 2nd annual fundraiser for city firefighters: https://www.republicanherald.com/2026/02/09/eagle-tavern-to-host-2nd-annual-fundraiser-for-city-firefighters/

POTTSVILLE — Building on the success of an initiative last year, Eagle Tavern, at 112 E. Norwegian St., is preparing to host the second edition of a fundraiser for the city fire department.

From Feb. 24 to 28, 10% of all sales from the bar and restaurant — food, drinks, delivery and takeout orders — will go directly to the fire department, according to owner Laz Melan.

Also, Eagle Tavern will host a slate of special events that week, including a karaoke night, music bingo and a firkin-tapping featuring the city’s mayor, Tom Smith.

We are so excited!🖤
